The Book of Henryków digitalised

From 9 February 2010 the famous Book of Henryków can be read fully digitalised at FIDES Digital Library. It is written in 1268-1273. Currently the book is held in the Diocesan Museum in Wrocław.

From 11th December 2009 resources of tenths of Polish digital libraries participating in the the PIONIER Network Digital Libraries Federation - including FIDES Digital Library - are available in European Digital Library – Europeana.

27 September 2006, during the 12. General Assembly of FIDES, the new digital library of FIDES was launched officially by bishop Piotr Jarecki from Warsaw. It was the 10th installation of the system dLibra in Poland. dLibra is the first Polish system for building digital libraries which has been developed by the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC) since 1999. dLibra system is now the most popular software of this type in Poland.
